Excess packaging need not apply...

Chiquita have just launched a new range of bananas, pacaged in a way which apparently extends their shelf life by a week. I must confess, I'm not the biggest fan of this move. Does the world need more packaging? Surely that's the advantage of the humble banana - it comes ready-wrapped!
